Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder, professionally Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named their daughter in honor of her hometown. Michel Horowitz was her father as well as Cynthia Palmer, his mother, were both authors and editors. Ryder is a Jewish. Ryder believes that her father came from an Jewish background. She has two younger half-siblings, Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder's family relocated from Mendocino County to California at the age of seven older. They didn't have electricity. Ryder was an avid reader who spent all of her time reading books because she was not able to watch TV. In 1983 when she was 12 years old, Ryder took up a place at the American Conservatory Theatre to take acting classes. Her first role was a success on the big screen in the year 1986 at the age of 15 aged. Ryder was a victim of bullying in high school. Ryder hoped her career as an actor would be able to make a difference. It didn't take place. However, she remained committed to the goals she had set. In 1988 she had her big break in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder was able to continue her successful characters in numerous films. In 1993, she was nominated twice at the Academy Awards. One of them for her role In The Age of Innocence.
