Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress that appears mainly in Tamil and Telugu films in addition to some Malayalam films. She was awarded an award called the National Film Award as Best Actress in the year 2018 because of her performance as actress Savitri, who appeared in the Telugu film Mahanati. The other awards she received comprise three SIIMA Awards, a Filmfare Award South as well as three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy, her mother is Menaka G. Suresh and filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar is an actress in her early years. Her initial career path was an actress for children. Later, after studying fashion design, she was back to acting. The first time she starred in a leading role was in 2013's Malayalam movie Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy began working in projects that weren't Malayalam in the year 2015. The actress also signed on to be a part of numerous Tamil films simultaneously. Her first film release came in A. L. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2015), opposite Vikram Prabhu. The film did not perform well in the theater. A busy schedule during 2015 meant that she had choose to stay out of movies that she was already making, such as Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and Deekay's Kavalai Vendam, in order to make room for larger projects. In a short time, she worked alongside Sivakarthikeyan for Rajini Murugan, Remo and she also acted as the lead in Prabhu Sool's Thodari alongside Dhanush. The film that she played in was her Telugu debut had been planned in the form of Ainaa Ishtam nuvvu. In 2015 the movie was delayed. Reports claim that Janakitho will debut in September 2020. Nenu Sailaja (2016), which featured Ram Pothineni as the actor was the debut film of Keerthy's. Keerthy made her debut in Bairavaa with Vijay and directed by Bharathan.
